The New Australian Musical Freddie and Eden present ‘Beautiful Things’ is a unique musical journey through the mind of an eccentric performer, seeking perfection in an imperfect world. In pursuit of the ultimate set of personas for their daring double act, the pair are forced to face their fears and realise their limitations. They wrestle with the inevitable separation of man and the gods and question the responsibility of a woman in pursuit of a forbidden knowledge. Will fear of the world of good and evil prevail over one man’s mind? Will a man seemingly destined to be alone be able to create love?

Freddie and Eden take us in to a world of beautiful things, only to force us to question the truth behind what might be beautiful and what is real.

Ash Bee (Eden) is a versatile and motivated performer with advanced skills in dance, choreography, acting and vocal performance. Graduating in 2008 from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Performance Studies, Miss Bee’s creative practice is informed by a range of artistic forms including contemporary dance, musical theatre, burlesque, cabaret, circus and performance art. Throughout her studies she performed in works choreographed by some of Australia’s best choreographers including Narelle Benjamin, Kay Armstrong and Sue Healey.

Lloyd Harvey (Freddie) is a seasoned vocal performer and actor with roles on screen, stage and in studio recording. He has been likened to a “baritonied rock-god” in a recent review by Australian Stage for his role as Tom Collins in “Rent” whilst others have called him a Buble styled crooner. Recently winning the best actor award at Short Sweet and Song for his portrayal of Walter in ‘The Charmed Life’ (2009). Lloyd’s versatility is heightened by his ability to rise to challenges and meet the demands that face his character or performance.
